Chris Kyle was nothing more than a Texan man who dreamed of becoming a cowboy, but in his thirties he found out that maybe his life needed something different, something where he could express his real talent, something that could help America in its fight against terrorism. So he joined the SEALs in order to become a sniper. After marrying, Kyle and the other members of the team are called for their first tour of Iraq. Kyle's struggle isn't with his missions, but about his relationship with the reality of the war and, once returned at home, how he manages to handle it with his urban life, his wife and kids. U.S. Navy Seal Chris Kyle takes his sole mission, protecting his comrades, to heart and becomes one of the most lethal snipers in American history. His pinpoint accuracy not only saves countless lives but also makes him a prime target of insurgents. Despite great danger and his struggle to be a good husband and father to his family back in the States, Kyle serves four tours of duty in Iraq. However, when he finally returns home, he finds that he cannot leave the war behind. This is an OK movie to watch if you switch your brain off. The direction and acting are OK.

What annoys me about the film is the underlying themes.

These are similar to Deer Hunter, i.e.: American doesn't want these foreign wars; but we will invade to protect our interests, even if we don't call it an invasion; it's hard on our troops out there and when they get home; we know some civilians are going to get killed and we share their pain; at the end of the day we'll do whatever is required to protect our interests.

Rather than focusing on one individual American soldier why not focus on the damage that's been done to Afghanistan citizens? and how they will be affected for years, maybe decades, to come? Overall, American Sniper is banal. Before going to the cinema to watch American sniper I was not expecting a lot of this movie, and it might be the reason why I liked it !

Nevertheless I'm not entirely convinced ! Even if this film is very interesting I'm bored of all those movies which are the "new propaganda" of the US army where the SEAL is nothing but the best in all fields ! He always take the good decision , as a consequence, he never fail. I know what you can say : But that's reality, that's a true story ! Sure ! But American sniper is only depicting what is favorable for the Americans in an exaggerating way. American sniper is the true story of Chris Kyle (played by Bradley Cooper), a sniper who is now a sort of legend in the US army because he killed an estimated 255 persons during the Iraq war. This film exposes the hardships these warriors are exposed to and I think that's the most accomplished thing Eastwood (the director) does here. Making sure that the war at home is just as intense as the reality, as the war in Iraq.

The movie also shows an interesting relationship with the family of Kyle, showing that it's hard for his wife too. One of the most heartbreaking scene is when we see kyle back home and his wife trying to communicate, he does not answer like if was not in this room, like if he still was in Iraq But that's all, in this film you don't learn anything more about C.Kyle, and the end of the movie does not give more explanations.

To conclude this movie is very entertaining but does not have an objective look to what really happened and to who is really Kyle Korver : As for me murder does not make a person a hero. Eastwood has become tauntingly tough-minded: “You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?” he seems to be saying. And, with the remorselessness of age, he follows Chris Kyle’s rehabilitation and redemption back home, all the way to their heartbreaking and inexplicable end. In 2016, the website the Intercept also discovered a discrepancy in the terms of medals Kyle had earned. Kyle had persistently claimed to have won two silver stars and five bronze stars for valor. However, military records show that Kyle actually earned one silver star and three bronze stars for valor. By contrast Kyle's official Navy discharge papers, his DD214, tally with the account in Kyle's book. The navy later amended Kyle's DD214 to one silver star and four bronze stars, commenting that Kyle would have had no influence over his awards beyond signing for them. The film portrays Kyle's enlistment as a reaction to terrorist attacks, but actually he had planned to join ever since high school out of a more generalized desire to serve his country. In the book, Kyle's first kill is indeed a woman about to throw a grenade at marines but there was no child present, Kyle never actually kills any children. He makes reference to "Mustafa", the insurgent sniper but states that another SEAL killed him, his famous mile-long shot actually made against an insurgent armed with a Rocket Propelled Grenade. The film also omits much of his rescuing wounded soldiers under fire for which he received the majority of his medals. It also omits his first tour during the liberation of Iraq when he had yet to qualify as a sniper and served as a machine-gunner. a5c7b9f00b Episode 1.227 movie in hindi hd free downloadtamil movie Parker free downloadNo Joke!
